The story so far...

Well it's been an incredible first 3 months running 4 wheel drive tours in partnership with Dirk Hartog Island Eco Lodge. Put simply Dirk Hartog Rocks! We've seen some incredible sights - dolphins surfing, 100s of sharks schooling, blowholes blowing, whales breaching and more scones eaten than we ever thought possible!

From our perspective the tours have given our guests the best of Shark Bay - wild pristine landscapes, steeped in history and teaming with wildlife. It has also been great working with the team on Dirk Hartog Island. Kieran, Tory, Kaz, Lindsay and the kids have been nothing short of brilliant. So friendly and welcoming literally everyone that comes on tour ends up saying they want to come back to the island on holiday 🙂

We've also been involved in some great events on the island, especially the recent Long Table Lunch cooked by TV Chef Russell Blaikie. What a feast of local crab, whiting, mackerel, lamb and beef! We are a bit biased but Tory's scones with fresh whipped cream, homemade jams and lemon curd are even better - seriously people, it's worth coming on tour just for the morning tea.

The pictures here give you a taste of what Dirk Hartog Island is all about but honestly you just have to come and experience it for yourself. Step back in time and into a part of Australian history. Dirk Hartog Rocks! See here for more details - Dirk Hartog Island 4WD
