Join us on Thursday 9th August 2018 for our Gourmet Island Escape. Enjoy incredible local produce with Shark Bay prawns, scallops, snow crabs, whiting and pink snapper. Fresh fruit & veg is flown direct from Carnarvon to produce the freshest of taste for the freshest seafood in Australia, creating a true ocean to plate experience.
Complementing the regions local produce imported from Margaret River are a selection of bean-to-bar chocolates by Gabriel Chocolate, red & white wines from Moss Wood Wines and a variety of beer supplied by Gage Roads Beers.
Chef Russell Blaikie, Must Wine Bar, Western Australia will cook a seafood paella over the campfire and create a variety of seafood platters for our main event, On Dirk’s Dinner Plate – Long Table Lunch. The Gourmet Island Escape is a great way to explores the islands natural history, unique flora, fauna and breathtaking landscapes with professional local guides.
Your day will start at 10am at Denham jetty, where you’ll board our comfortable boat, Woomerangee. It will take us around 1 hour to reach our destination, Dirk Hartog Island Eco Lodge. Following a day of dégustation with Russel Blaikie we will transfer you back to Denham by 5pm.
